Job Opportunity – Service Administrator.
The Service Administrator will be responsible for: -
• Booking customer vehicles in for servicing on an appropriate date and time. This may be over the phone or customer facing.
• Completing Job Cards for mechanics
• Co-ordinating work with Service Supervisor
• Keeping Customers updated on work in progress – time vehicle will be available etc.
• Answering telephone
• Invoicing customers
• Warranty claims
• Taking payments from customer of work complete
• Showing customers to waiting area and offering them tea / coffee
• Organising our customer a courtesy vehicle
• Contacting customers when a service is due to be completed etc
• Ensuring all work carried out in the workshop is charged out
• Liaising with large contract customers regarding vehicle inspections and MOT preparation.
• Organising drivers for customer vehicle collections and MOT runs
• Working closely with internal parts dept to ensure parts are ordered for use in workshop.
Essential Criteria
• GCSE Maths and English – Grade C or above
• GCSE Computers
• Driving Licence and clean driving record
• 1-year minimum experience in an office, or in a Customer Care environment
Essential Requirements
• Have good communication skills
• Honest and trustworthy
• Knowledge of the principles of good customer care
• Ability to work as part of a harmonious and successful team
• Good organisational skills
• Computer literate
• Flexible approach to work demands
